Claire's Cozy Coop was born from a shared love of knitting, color, and the joy of creating something beautiful with your hands. We're Claire and Erin Gauch — a mother-daughter duo with a passion for fiber arts and a dream of sharing it with the world.
Meet Erin
Erin is a mechanical engineer by day and a devoted knitter by night. With nearly 40 years of knitting experience, she brings a deep understanding of fiber, tools, pattern, and construction to every yarn we craft. Her technical eye and creative heart are woven into everything we do.
Meet Claire
Claire is a high school sophomore who discovered knitting a few years ago and never looked back. As a left-handed knitter, she brings a unique perspective to the craft — and is passionate about making knitting accessible to fellow southpaws. She even learned to crochet just so she could teach a teen class at the local library!
Our Craft
Every skein in our shop is hand-dyed by us, using carefully selected high-quality fibers. We're obsessed with color — from rich, moody tones to bright, playful palettes — and we take pride in creating unique colorways you won't find anywhere else.
